Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has demonstrated her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her performance as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) within the biography All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground received a lot of praise. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a third season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set to be released in the middle of 2019. The same year, she became the first Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has been able to add her charisma and beauty to her debut major English language film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood through the smash production Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. In April 2007, she got married Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star and the father of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought two of India's most powerful personalities.
